About us:

Newcastle Pregnancy Help began some 50 plus years ago by a few concerned Novocastrians, in response to a need in the community, for support for mothers and families. Our organisation is committed to supporting families through the highs and lows of pregnancy and early parenting.  In 2024, we expanded services to the New England region of NSW as well, meaning we can offer service to clients in the Hunter and New England regions. And we are always looking for volunteers to help, so feel free to send us an email if you may like to help- our contact on the bottom of our front page.

The service is staffed by a fantastic team of volunteers, qualified counsellors and psych's. All staff and volunteers have access to professional training, specific to their role.

Newcastle & New England help service's mission is to offer support during any stage of pregnancy and parenting in the first year of your child's life.

We provide some practical, material and emotional support, and a much-needed link between those facing difficulties during pregnancy and early parenting and the services they need - all within a professional framework. We aim to meet the need as it is presented to us- so our service is very much client focused and centred.

We are a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) as a Registered Charity and approved as a Deductible Gift Recipient with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO). This means that all donations over $2 made to Newcastle & New England Pregnancy Help are tax deductible.
